OK peeps! I saw a truly heavenly recipe for apple bread a few weeks back, thought I pinned it on Pinterest, and now I can't find it!?!?! Of course I didn't save it anywhere else, so if you are the lovely reader who made it and blogged about it, please point me in the right direction because I really wanted to make it!
I was headed out to the combine today, but I have a bit of extra time as there is a flat tired to be dealt with. Trying to decide if I have enough time to start planting my bulbs or if I should sty inside and keep attacking the house. It's a nasty war, and my heart just isn't in fighting dust bunnies and clutter. May have to mosey outside. It's supposed to be crappy weather for the next two days, so the choice will be out of my hands then right?
Just had some great news! Leotine is feeling better. The doctors have found a medicine that is helping her body recover from the 12 treatments she had last week, and if she can keep her food down, she will be able to go home today! Thanks so much for all your prayers, and please keep them coming. This is just round one, and she still has a fight ahead of her. We are just so happy that she is improving!
That's about all I have today. Working on a couple of blogs about drying corn and trying to to understand the mysterious language of hand signals that men send to their wives. Any stories out there about misunderstood hand signals? Yeah, they usually end up with some ones being sent that are universally understood, but how do we NOT get to that point is my question? More about that later. I think a dust bunny is sneaking up on me!
Be safe out there in the fields, and please keep Leontine in your hearts and prayers. Also don't forget to sign up for your chance to win a free pair of Carhartt bibs over at Real Farmwives of America & Friends!
