I'm re-posting from last year for a couple reasons.
1. I seem to be crazy busy with birthdays and preparing for a big bake sale at our school this weekend that goes with our BIG CHRISTMAS BAZAAR~! If you are in the Fowler area, please stop in from 9-2 at Sacred Heart School for great shopping from small, local businesses. Bring the kids! Our town is also joining in the fun with local businesses open, sleigh rides, Santa, and a free movie in the afternoon.
2. The girls are skating again, only this time I didn't need to go in... sniff...sniff. I did peak in on Tuesday when I was there to watch Bear roll around. She is not to daredevil pace yet, but she was going solo.
I hope to have some yummy recipes to share with you soon, one for date nut bread and another for sour cream cookies, but I need to go make the cookies and work on the bread post.
I got out of helping temp cows because I was baking the bread yesterday and getting ready for Tink's birthday party. (I need to post about the party too so that everything is equal and fair!) The first group did not fair so well what with our cold rainy weather this past week. Time for meds! The next 40 get their check up today, but I think I'll miss out on that fun too. Don't worry, They have to be checked again in two days, so I will get my time out there and break in the new Carhartt bibs. Woo!
For today, though, please enjoy a look back to last year and the fun our kids have at their wonderful school. Gosh! The girls have changed in just a year's time!
Look what I have been doing the last two Tuesday and Thursday afternoons!
First, I have to set the record straight. I WAS NOT ON SKATES!!!!
I didn't take any pictures the first week because there were too many hands to hold and kids to help back up. The second graders (Tink's class) shared space with the first graders, and we had ALL levels of experience going 'round the circle. Kind of like a very crazy roller derby movie!
